Pictured at age 8! What a doe!

Sadly, Schnapps' show and milk career were cut short when she had to have a mastectomy due to gangrene mastitis prior to coming to Hoof & Horn Farm. However, the milk production and show success of her offspring speak for themselves. She continues to produce exceptional kids. We lost her doe kid, Katana, this season to a reaction to Moxidection de-wormer....a sad loss of a superior doeling. The offspring produced from Schnapps & Xavier have been SO nice that we will repeat the Schnapps x Xavier breeding in the fall of 2008, and only if there are twins will ANY be offered for sale.

A buckling out of Schnapps & Xavier, Hoof & Horn XS Praxis (Jr. Champion in one ring)

 

Schnapps' 2008 daughter, Hoof & Horn XS Katana, whom we lost to Moxidectin. We will sorely miss this doeling.

Schnapps produced knock-out twins Devonshire CS Fuzzy Navel and Devonshire SC Sadie. Sadie is pictured above as a  yearling milker.

Schnapps' granddaughter, out of Fuzzy Navel, Ayrsmoss Strawberry Cordial. She was a 2 year old first freshener in May 2007.
